Kaspa Wallet Compatibility
Which apps and devices actually support Kaspa (KAS) — and which ones will lose your funds if you try. Once you've picked a wallet, you can use our free Kaspa address lookup to confirm the Kaspa balance on any address.

The short answer
Kaspa is its own Layer 1 blockchain with addresses that start with kaspa:. It is not a token on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, or any other network. That means generic multi-chain wallets like Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Phantom cannot hold KAS — only Kaspa-native wallets and a few hardware devices can.
Wallet support at a glance
| Wallet | Type | Kaspa support |
|---|---|---|
KasWare Kaspa-native. Send, receive, sign messages, and connect to Kaspa dApps. | Browser extension | Supported |
Kaspium Kaspa-native mobile wallet. Supports HD accounts and Ledger pairing. | Mobile (iOS / Android) | Supported |
Tangem Cold storage with Kaspa support out of the box via the Tangem app. | Hardware card | Supported |
Ledger (Nano S Plus / X / Stax) Install the Kaspa app from Ledger Live, then pair with KasVault or Kaspium. | Hardware | Supported |
OKX Wallet Supports KAS deposits, withdrawals, and on-chain holding in the OKX Wallet extension. | Exchange wallet / extension | Supported |
Trust Wallet No Kaspa network support. Do not send KAS to a Trust Wallet address. | Mobile multi-chain | Not supported |
MetaMask EVM-only. Kaspa is not EVM-compatible and cannot be added as a custom network. | Browser extension | Not supported |
Phantom Solana / Bitcoin / Ethereum focus; no Kaspa support. | Browser / mobile | Not supported |
Does Trust Wallet support Kaspa?
No. Trust Wallet does not support the Kaspa network. There is no "add custom token" workaround either, because Kaspa is a native coin on its own chain — not an ERC-20 or BEP-20 token. Sending KAS to a Trust Wallet receive address will result in lost funds with no way to recover them.
If you want a mobile wallet for KAS, use Kaspium or the OKX Wallet app instead — then run a free Kaspa address lookup to verify the Kaspa balance before sending any funds.
Using Kaspa with Ledger
- Open Ledger Live and update your device firmware to the latest version.
- In My Ledger, search for Kaspa and install the app on your Nano S Plus, Nano X, or Stax.
- Open a Kaspa-aware interface — KasVault (web) or Kaspium (mobile) — and choose "Connect Ledger".
- Verify your
kaspa:receive address on the Ledger screen before sharing it.
Best practices
- Always verify the network. A KAS address starts with
kaspa:. If a wallet shows a0x…,bc1…, or any other prefix, it is not Kaspa. - Send a test transaction first. For any new wallet or exchange withdrawal, move a small amount of KAS before the full transfer.
- Back up your seed phrase offline. Write the 12 or 24 BIP39 words on paper or steel — never store them in cloud notes, screenshots, or chat history.
- Use a hardware wallet for long-term holdings. Ledger and Tangem keep keys off your phone or computer.
- Beware of fake extensions and apps. Install KasWare, Kaspium, and OKX Wallet only from their official sites and verified store listings.
