Kaspa Address: Format, Lookup & How to Find Yours
A Kaspa address is your public account number on the Kaspa network — share it to receive KAS, and use it to look up the Kaspa balance of any wallet on the ledger. Here's what one looks like, how to validate it, and where to find yours in every major wallet.
What a Kaspa address looks like
Example mainnet address
kaspa:qzk3kjnt6t8svh3yl7gxq3umrr6tqz3v5y8sxr8w3xmf2v2y7d2qj7e6r0jvk- Starts with the
kaspa:prefix on mainnet (orkaspatest:on testnet). - Encoded in bech32m — lowercase letters and numbers, no
0,o,i, orlto avoid lookalike characters. - Includes a built-in checksum, so a single mistyped character usually fails to decode rather than sending KAS to the wrong place — but always copy/paste, never retype.
- Three address types exist (P2PK Schnorr, P2PK ECDSA, P2SH). For receiving KAS, treat them all the same — paste whatever your wallet shows.
Validate a Kaspa address
Paste any Kaspa address below to check the prefix, character set, and length. This is a format check — to confirm the address actually exists on the network, open it in the explorer.
Validation runs entirely in your browser. The address is not sent anywhere.
How to find your Kaspa address
KasWare (browser extension)
- Open the KasWare extension and unlock with your password.
- Your address is shown at the top of the main screen, under the account name.
- Click the address to copy it to your clipboard — a check mark confirms the copy.
Kaspium (iOS / Android)
- Open Kaspium and tap the Receive tab at the bottom.
- Your current receive address and QR code appear on screen.
- Tap Copy address, or share the QR with the sender.
Tangem (NFC card)
- Open the Tangem app and tap your Kaspa card to the back of your phone.
- Select the KAS wallet and tap Receive.
- Copy the address or show the QR code to the sender.
Ledger (via KasVault or Kaspium)
- Install the Kaspa app from Ledger Live onto your Nano S Plus, Nano X, or Stax.
- Open KasVault (kasvault.app) or Kaspium and choose 'Connect Ledger'.
- Click Receive — verify the address shown on your Ledger screen matches the one on your computer or phone before sharing.
Before you share your address
- Make sure it starts with
kaspa:— notkaspatest:, and not a Bitcoin or Ethereum address. - Compare the first 6 and last 6 characters after pasting, especially on mobile, to defeat clipboard-hijacking malware.
- For large transfers, send a small test amount first.
- Sharing your address is safe. Sharing your seed phrase is never safe.
